This comprehensive, hands-on math system gives young learners repeated opportunities to see, say, build, count, trace, write, move, match, and represent numbers in multiple ways. Each Number Bag focuses on one number and includes engaging activities that move students from concrete exploration to pictorial representations and written numerals.

Students explore numbers using numerals, number words, structured and unstructured dot patterns, objects, fingers, tally marks, five-frames, ten-frames, dice, dominoes, number paths, linking cubes, playdough, movement activities, clip cards, matching games, and printable practice pages.

The system includes colorful teaching materials as well as black-and-white student pages that can be colored, traced, cut, matched, and used again and again. Activities such as card decks, number mats, movement chants, I Spy games, animal counting cards, number bracelets, playdough mats, mini-books, and domino activities provide meaningful practice without relying on worksheets alone.
